Series: Renewal
July 07, 2024 | Josh Brage
Passage: Psalms
Experiencing God's goodness is not about achieving perfection but about recognizing and accepting our brokenness as the space where God's grace and healing are most evident. Adhering to checklist morality and striving for a "good life" often result in unfulfillment and disappointment, revealing the limitations of human efforts in the quest for goodness. So, this is where we can experience the true strength of the church community because as a whole it can embody and disseminate God's goodness through its actions and meaningful relationships. Ultimately, the brokenness of Jesus on the cross profoundly illustrates the depth of God's goodness by demonstrating his willingness to endure suffering and sacrifice for the sake of our redemption, offering us healing and salvation through his wounds.

Fasting & Prayer
Throughout this series we encourage you to participate as we collectively fast and pray on Wednesdays. This practice could look different depending on your season of life, but we encourage you to fast breakfast and/or lunch and spend some time in prayer in the morning or during your normal lunch break. This will be a renewing opportunity for all of us as a church. If you would like to be reminded via text, we can send you a weekly prompt.
