We invite you to find your story within God’s bigger story. We are a church that lives for something bigger than ourselves and is passionate to proclaim and demonstrate the way of Jesus.
OUR MISSION IS
To be a people empowered by the presence of Jesus Christ to proclaim his kingdom, and demonstrate his love, justice, and mercy to our neighbor.
We encourage one another and learn how to live and love like Jesus through three life rhythms we call, Transform, Neighbor, and Restore:
Transform: Jesus promises his particular presence through the Holy Spirit and it is the regenerative work of the Spirit in a believer’s heart, where the Spirit uses truth, relationships, and life experiences to conform every believer more to the image of Christ.
Neighbor: We seek to invite others to find their story within God’s bigger story as we proclaim and demonstrate the way of Jesus through prayer and relationship.
Restore: We interact with God’s bigger story by participating in his plan to flood the world with his presence. We live to see brokenness restored and search for opportunities where our passions and talents intersect with the needs of others to bring about His love, justice, and mercy.
CORE VALUES
Pursues God’s kingdom. We focus on the gospel of the Kingdom, challenging adults, youth, and children to deeply engage the three rhythms of transform, neighbor, and restore in order to live Kingdom-centered lives. We also seek broad, holistic influence for the kingdom through church partnerships, collaborations, church planting, and leadership development – locally and globally.
Pursues God’s presence. We experience God’s presence powerfully when we gather together for worship, the public reading of Scripture, the confession of sin and assurance of pardon, the receiving of the Lord’s Supper, and the prayers of the people. We are “devoted to prayer, being watchful and thankful” (Colossians 4:2) because prayer is our most vital practice.
Pursues God’s truth. Because God’s truth came to us in Person, we believe walking with Jesus Christ is transformative. So we thoughtfully engage believers and unbelievers through biblical teaching that helps people apply the truth of the gospel in understandable and compelling ways.
Pursues relationship. Like he did among us, Jesus' followers journey in community where we learn to live other-centered lives. These small groups are large enough to have a party, small enough to be largely known, and ready to act together in pursuit of God’s kingdom.
Engages culture. We see God’s beauty and goodness everywhere as we engage the culture around us because it provides a platform and pathway for the Gospel. We do not retreat from society but rather equip people to make a kingdom impact in all of their spheres of influence.
Welcomes everyone. We will love and serve people from all belief systems, ethnicities, walks of life, and stages of faith. Inviting them to consider the claims of Jesus Christ, to experience the beauty of his grace and redemption, and with joyful allegiance, to become his disciple.
