Tuesday pm
"Holy Habits" by Mimi Wilson and Shelly Cook Volkhardt
1st & 3rd Tuesdays, Room 204W - 6:30 - 8:30 pm - Leader: Pat Moyer Begins September 7, 2010
Cost: Cost of Book About the Study: On the morning of her thirtieth birthday, Mimi Wilson woke up wondering where the years had gone. Time was passing more quickly than she'd imagined-but what had she accomplished? She lived a good, busy life. Yet even her active spiritual life seemed void of lasting meaning. The future hung directionless before her.
The resulting unique, life-changing search for purpose and direction led Mimi to discover that an intimate understanding of God laid the foundation for the changes she desired. Uncover this story in the pages of Holy Habits as Mimi and her friend, Shelly Cook Volkhardt reveal how their examination of the names of God enabled them to begin living intentionally. Encounter God for yourself as they guide you to meet Him face-to-face and give you ways to make His characteristics a part of your daily patterns. Let Mimi and Shelly's personal experience and in-depth study lead you to an intimate, lasting relationship with God which will give you a life full of purpose and direction.
Wednesday pm "Daniel" by Beth Moore Wednesdays, Rachel's House (4669 Lowell Blvd, Denver, 80236), 6:30 - 8:30 pm - Leader: Rachel Maher Begins September 8, 2010 Cost: $20 About the Study: Join Beth Moore in a faith-building study of prophecy and learn how to live integrity in today's self-absorbed society. The prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats. Today, believers of Jesus Christ face many of the same trials.
Thursday am "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan Thursdays, Room 211E - 9:30-11:30 am - Leaders: Lorna Jordan & Monica Mueller Begins September 9, 2010 (10 weeks) Cost: $20 Childcare Available: $30 / family for the semester, RSVP x205 About the Study: God is love. Crazy, relentless, all-powerful love. Have you ever wondered if we’re missing it? It’s crazy, if you think about it. The God of the universe—the Creator of nitrogen and pine needles, galaxies and E-minor—loves us with a radical, unconditional, self-sacrificing love. And what is our typical response? We go to church, sing songs, and try not to cuss. Whether you’ve verbalized it yet or not...we all know somethings wrong. Does something deep inside your heart long to break free from the status quo? Are you hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with tangible, even radical, solutions? God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn’t working harder at a list of do’s and don’ts—it’s falling in love with God. And once you encounter His love, as Francis describes it, you will never be the same. Because when you’re wildly in love with someone, it changes everything.
"Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed" by Beth Moore, Kay Arthur & Priscilla Shirer Thursdays, Room 205W - 9:30-11:30 am - Leader: Sara Pipkin Begins September 9, 2010 (6 weeks) Cost: $20 Childcare Available: $30 / family for the semester, RSVP x205 About the Study: A study of David. Each segment focuses on a different stage of his life: as a young man, a middle-aged man, and as a man facing the final stages of his life.
Thursday pm "Here and Now, There and Then" by Beth Moore Thursdays, Room 205W - 7-9 pm - Leader: Nancy McKee Begins September 9, 2010 Cost: $20 About the Study: A lecture series on the book of Revelation. Beth presents many points of view, allowing women to decide for themselves when the interpretation varies among scholars. She teaches that God is as specific about what He does reveal as He is about what He does not reveal. Friday am "The book of Ephesians" Precepts Study Fridays, Room 211E - 9-11:30 am - Leader: Vicki Beeg Begins September 24, 2010 Cost: $20 About the Study: Chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world, targeted by grace, sons of God united in a single family, inheritors, holy, redeemed, forgiven, raised from the dead and seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenlies! How can you not study Ephesians!? Before Paul even hints at how believers should live, he lays a rock-solid foundation: who we are in Christ! If you think you're just a cog in a machine, if you don't know your true identity, then this study is for you. Praise God for what He planned in eternity past and is waiting to reveal to you now . . . through the study of His Word. Learn who and what you are in Christ and you'll want to walk God's ways the rest of your life!

Begins: September 14, 2010 (8 weeks)
Cost: $10
About Surrendering the Secret: Conservative estimates claim that 43% of women of childbearing age have experienced an abortion. Surrendering the Secret allows women who need help to connect with women who can help. Surrendering the Secret is an 8-week Bible study designed to bring healing to women who have abortion in their past. Our mission is to provide a supportive and confidential environment that facilitates healing and restoration, bringing hope and purpose for the future.
